So me and Paul drove into Philly, not knowing what to expect of the night.

We got to the Troc at about 7:30 and Ray-ulph rushed up to us to get us in. And we worked up our way to the front for the metal that is Children of Bodom.

Chilled out w/Paul, bought a COB shirt and then waited for a while. Rushed back cause I thought LoG was on next but it was just good ol' Fear Factory.

Fear Factory: Played "Slave Labor" and "Cyberwaste", which was all I really wanted to hear by them badly. I don't care what anyone else says, their new CD is great. Played one song off of Souls of a New Machine also, which was nice. Raymond Herrera is an amazing drummer. Damn.

Lamb of God: HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
"Laid to Rest", "Hourglass", "As the Palaces Burn", "Now You've got Something to Die For", "Omerta", "Ruin", "Pariah", "The Faded Line", "11th Hour", "Terror and Hubris(In the house of Frank Pollard)", "Ruin", "Black Dahlia(I think)", "Vigil(the lights dimmed and Randy light a lighter for the 'Our Father thy Will Be Done!' part. INSANE..INSANE FUCKIN SHOW. DEFINETLY MADE UP FOR LAST YEAR'S NU-METAL SMOTHERED LINEUP. And to top it all off, Teresa was there w/me for the whole day <3333

The show started at 9:30 but Teresa wasn't feeling well, so we missed Lacuna Coil :-( oh well. Still a great, great day.

We waited around Teresa's house till 11, I played scrabble with her(wow she's getting really good at it...we didn't finish the game but she was winning by a bit....good job love, you're getting very good!) and then her mom took us there. Here's the run-down:

GOD FORBID: Went on as soon as we got there. Only played 4 or 5 songs, I think it was "Forced Fed" and...can't remember the rest, ended with "Broken Promise" though. I was in awe of their energy. kinda like the Shadows Fall of this year, in the sense that they're not all too big but their exhuberance will make them huge, they definetly blew the crowd away.

LAMB OF GOD: "Ruin", "As The Palaces Burn", "Pariah", "11th Hour", "The Subtle Arts of Murder and Persuasion", "Black Label"...I'm pretty sure that's how it went down. Amazing set, I had to mosh my way up to the very front, which involved me getting my ass slammed to the ground by some fat bald dude. But yeah....really fuckin rocked.

Teresa and I went backstage and stuff, I kinda wanted to see Slipknot cause Joey Jordison is a sick fuckin drummer but Teresa wasn't feeling well and stuff.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: Ended with "Bezerkers", that's all I remember. Teresa got jelly cause Zakk threw his guitar out into the audience and some old guy caught it.

DIMMU BORGIR: OK....I had to go to the bathroom(meanwhile. Teresa got HIT ON. >:-( )but then I heard the intro music so I darted back. "Spellbound(by the Devil)", "Vredesbyrd", "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse", "Kings of the Carnival Creation", "Mourning Palace" if I remember correctly. AMAZING. Really fuckin rocked, my dad likes them now. Sweet.

Met up with Walter and his cousin, we talked for a while. Then, on came

SLAYER: "Darkness of Christ", "Disciple", "War Ensemble", "Die by the Sword", "Payback", "Chemical Warfare", "Dead Skin Mask", "South of Heaven", "Mandatory Suicide", "Hell Awaits", "Raining Blood" if I am correct. Unbelievable, simply unbeliveable. But hey...no "Antichrist"? Or even "Dittohead"? And where was "Angel of Death"? Oh well, can't have everything. Still quite awesome though.

Walter, Teresa, Kevin and I all anticipated Judas Priest. Walter and I kept asking ourselves....was this really happening? Was Judas Priest really about to go on?? WAS THIS THE BEST FUCKING CONCERT OF OUR LIVES??? WERE THE METAL GODS SO PLEASED WITH US THAT THEY BESTOWED THE MOST UNRELENTING ASSAULT OF METAL ON OUR EVER-WILLING SOULS?(Was Teresa, the love of my life, really here to make everything just that much better?) The awnser to all of those questions was....yes.

JUDAS PRIEST(WITH ROB FUCKING HALFORD HELL FUCKING YEAAAHH!!): "The Hellion" blared and Teresa and I were standing there, awaiting Rob Halford's presence. He came out, stood at the top of the platform which was built for them....Teresa couldn't see so I lifted her up and we both glared at the amazingness that is Rob Halford. So... "The Hellion", "Electric Eye(duh)", "Metal Gods", "Heading to the Highway", "Touch of Evil", "The Sentinel(!)", "Beyond the Realms of Death", "Breaking the Law", "Victim of Changes", "Green Manalishi(with the two-pronged crown)(sp?)", "Painkiller"!!!!!!

There was an encore, of course.

Rob rode out on his Motorcycle and the band proceeded into "Hell Bent for Leather". As if that wasn't enough, they then went right into "Living After Midnight".

And....another encore!!!
"You Got Another Thing Comin".

And then, Judas Priest exited the stage and we, the crowd, were left to settle in the stew of pure shock(actually it might have been sweat. Hmm) that the Priest had stirred up.

BLACK SABBATH: Didn't steal the show, that went to Priest. Still pretty damn rockin, I mean just the realization that it was Tony fuckin Iommi...the man responsible for "Black Sabbath", the first official fucking metal song IN THE WORLD, was there, that was enough. Ozzy was good, little out of key but hey I still enjoyed myself. Geezer was rockin out, so was Bill(my dad was blown away by him which was pretty cool), and yeah, pretty damn good.
"War Pigs", "NIB", .....uhm, I forget alot of the middle... "Snowblind", "Iron Man", " and then "Paranoid".

Then the after party, met up with my friend Denise. She introduced me to CHRIS FUCKIN ADLER, the drummer of Lamb OF GOD!!! And Mark and John as well. We basically talked drumming stuff...and how amazing LoG is.

Also talked to Richard Christy...drumming god. Well, he was over my house the day before at the annual Pre-Ozzfest barbeque that my dad holds, playing my drumset....signing my copy of the Sound of Perseverance, excelling at every thing I asked him to play off of that CD while drunk.

Met Randy as well. After he found out who my dad was he kept walkin up to me every 5 seconds, sayin "Paris! How are ya man?" which was really cool of him, he rocks when he's drunk hahaha. We talked about almost everything LoG. Good stuff.

Also talked quite a bit w/ Dallas and Jon from God Forbid, basically about how much they kicked ass and how great they were, also how kick ass it is to be JERSEY BANDS!!!!! Yea. That was cool.

Then..Denise went and got Cristina Scabbia off of the Lacuna Coil bus so Teresa could meet her, aww it made her ecstatic to talk to her. I was so happy because she was. And she was also a very nice person, she stayed out and talked to her and me for a while which was awesome.

During all of this mayhem, my dad beckoned me over to him to introduce us to FUCKING VORTEX FROM DIMMU. That fuckin rocked, he's like 6'6 he's huge, haha a fellow Norwegian. He talked about how his real name is Simen(pronounced SEE-MEN) which is the need for the name Vortex, definetly got a kick out of that haha.

Then my dad went home, Randy walked back up to Teresa and I so I said we gotta go. So he said "You bouncin? Cool dude, I will definetly see you soon" and then he said to Teresa, "Hey I forgot your name again what was it? Oh Teresa?" And THEN, HE BOWED DOWN AND KISSED HER HAND AND SAID "Take care of your man Teresa."

I then proceeded to inform Teresa how she was never to wash that hand again.

Yeahhhhh I found a way to use Livejournal at school. Anyone who is reading this and wants to know, ask me.

Um.....my computer is kinda broken, online-wise. Don't know when it's gonna be fixed, and uh....yeah.

So? This weekend I was meaning to update. So heeeeere we go.

Friday- Band practice(not Severed Hand, different band.) Then, Anne's house cause Teresa was there....had alot of um, fun ::winkwink::.

Saturday- Band practice(Sev-H.)WE ROCK!!! Drank alotta snapple. After that T-rev picked me up and we were going to the Monmouth Mall. As he was driving down my street, well for anyone who doesn't know, where it ends there is an intersection. If you go right, you go to the Monmouth Mall. Left, Freehold Mall. So as Trevor asked me where to go, he was all like...jeering right. So I was all like, "wuut you wanna go to the freehold mall?" and he was like "hell yeah!" So our destiny was changed cause he made that right. And well...freehold mall wuz dead, he bought a Venon CD, I ate McDonalds, and then I called Teresa on our way back to his house and she was all like, "hey there's a restaurant giving away free food in Middletown." So we were all like, "sweet" and we went there and I got to eat really good food for free and see Teresa<3. Then uh....went back to T-rev's and Greg came over, we rented Spinal Tap and went to Greg's house. Then I went home.

Sunday- Teresa came over<3333333 and my computer broke :-(

Monday- Band Practice(Sev-H). Dave got his guitar from Eric Nash w/the help of moi..so he bought me Taco Bell. Yeeea. Then I came home and called Teresa...and then she called Lauren Mar....erm...bitch. So I had to wait for her to call me and then we talked and it was late and my mom got mad at me for it.

TODAY-Teresa...mabye? Dunno. No archery though.
